TNHF Has A BBQ!

The TNHF family is continuing to grow, and to celebrate this fact, we decided to have a barbecue!

The Board of Directors, staff, and new interns came together for food and conversation to get to know each other on Nelson Mandela's birthday, July 18.  The board introduced themselves, including what animal they would be if they could be any.  The interns (except for Jesse who was at school) all introduced themselves as well!

It was also our chance to say goodbye to Lena who recently left TNHF to pursue work abroad.  She did some amazing work at TNHF and helped establish important aspects of the organization (including the internship program).  In her place came Sarah, who recently introduced herself in a blog.  Sarah has been a member of the board in the past, but now joins the staff to help on an even more direct level.

We're excited about the ever growing TNHF family and supporters.  We're also excited that George (board member) is as good of a barbecuer as he is.  The burgers were pretty bomb.
